Introducing Feather Drey's Levi

IDHA Registered: F2 Drum Stallion

Sire: THE Enigma

Dam: Westerdale Sandra

Date of Birth: 4 May 2021

Height: 15.3 hh (projected height 16 hh)

Levi is a registered Drum Horse who will turn 4 years old this coming May. Standing at 15.3 hands (and still growing), he boasts a striking black tobiano coloration and captivating blue eyes—his right eye is completely blue, while his left is partially blue.

What truly sets Levi apart is his exceptional personality. He is level-headed, intelligent, and sweet-natured, with a gentle yet curious disposition that makes him a joy to work with. His friendly, easygoing nature and calm demeanor are complemented by a strong work ethic and drive when the task at hand requires it.

Since acquiring him from Feather Drey Farms in Saskatchewan, I've dedicated considerable time to working with Levi on the ground. I’m excited to continue his training and begin riding him this coming spring. Levi is truly a rare gem, and I can’t wait to see how he continues to grow and develop.

Given his remarkable personality and stunning appearance, I wanted to “share” him with others. I’m offering discounted rates for the first clients.

Purpose of the Breed

'The purpose of the Drum Horse as a breed is to develop a new heavy horse breed that utilizes the best attributes of the Shire, Clydesdale, and Gypsy breeds, while focusing on breeding for athleticism, agility, and performance ability for all ridden disciplines.

The inspiration for the Drum Horse is the working horses still found carrying riders and heavy kettledrums in the Queen of England’s cavalry.'
